Summary
| Description | A very distinctive species of Stipa given the long plumose hairs along the first segment of the lemma awn. I fairly undisturbed sagebrush steppe, as in this area that is being sold a vacation property adjacent to Topaz Lake, Stipa speciosa form very robust bunches that are prone to die out in the center of the bunch. |
