I couldnt get over the size, about budgie size, tiny. I waited for almost 4 hours, they didnt come in, and when driving home in the low light, had to slow down for one on the road. It flew to a group of 6 feeding on the claypan. Low light, the 800 hand held, tiny grey bird, kneeling on prickles, I had a lot of fuzzy photos. I set a Bourkes as a "must do", but had no idea how hard they are to capture in good light. This is the best I could do at the time
