Juveniles of the Red-bellied Grackle are reared by 3-7 individuals that assemble breeding groups, and delay their dispersal to become helpers at the nest to raise their younger siblings. The first results of our long-term study of the breeding biology of Hypopyrrhus near Medellín were published in the Wilson Journal of Ornithology (2012; 124:538–546).
