English: Juvenile Desert Locust, Cyrtacanthacridinae
Français : Nymphe de criquet pèlerin. Ses couleurs changent selon qu'elle est au stade solitaire (en haut) ou au stade grégaire (en bas). Elle passe de l'un à l'autre état selon la quantité de nourriture disponible : s'il y a pénurie de nourriture, son comportement devient grégaire. Les adultes changent aussi de couleur selon les mêmes critères, mais le changement est moins spectaculaire.
